Selection of employees and technical infrastructure
We ensure that our translators, proofreaders and project managers have the requisite training and experience, as well as the relevant language capabilities and specialised qualifications. We also use state-of-the-art translation technology (e.g. CAT and QA tools) in the quality assurance of your translations and host all your data securely in Swiss data centres.

Glossaries, style guides and reference material
We can compile or check glossaries and style guides and will incorporate them into your translation projects. This means we can guarantee that your company-specific terminology will be used consistently and your language guidelines will be applied uniformly in all your translations. We furthermore give the translators access to your reference material in each case (e.g. pictures or videos) to allow them to put things into context.

Translation: choosing the right translator for your project
We select the translators for each of your translation projects carefully based on their profile and experience. Taking account of the subject-matter of your text and the desired language combination, we will always use the same translator for your company.

Revision
A second specialised translator will check the translation for content, language, terminology, style or grammar errors as well as for consistency and conformity with the source text. If a client so requests, we also offer an additional specialist review or proofreading service.

Quality assurance
To ensure that all the client’s instructions have been followed, the project manager carries out a final quality check. Our translation software is useful not just to translators and revisers but also to project managers for reporting spelling and grammar errors, inconsistent numbers, double spaces, failure to observe a glossary, etc.

We evaluate and assess the quality provided by translators and revisers on every project and give them feedback. This helps them hone their skills further so that they can deliver the quality that we demand.

SwissGlobal guarantees data security and confidentiality
Your data belongs to you and is your most precious asset. Accordingly, we treat it securely and with the utmost confidentiality. Our Swiss IT partner is ISO 27001 for Information Security Management-certified. When we prepare your translations, your data is processed encrypted on Swiss servers. This means that your texts and confidential information are never in any danger.

We use CSF infrastructure, which is ISO 27001-certified. Client data is always treated confidentially and stored in encrypted form.
ISO 17100
All translations are checked by a second specialised translator working into their mother tongue (the ‘four-eyes principle’).
