SwissGlobal takes over SemioticTransfer

On 1 May 2020, SwissGlobal Language Services AG, located in Baden (Aargau), took over the translation agency SemioticTransfer AG, also based in Baden.

This acquisition will see SwissGlobal continue to implement its growth strategy, expand its service portfolio, and benefit from valuable synergies. The two companies complement each other perfectly in terms of their market orientation, technological competence, and personnel expertise, which opens up interesting new prospects for clients and colleagues alike.

SemioticTransfer will continue to operate as a company and brand and will retain an independent identity. Clients can still rely on their familiar contacts and the reliable service they have come to expect from SemioticTransfer. All employee contracts and agreements with freelance linguists remain unchanged.

After a brief handover phase, Dr. Arno Giovannini, Semiotic Transfer’s long-standing owner and CEO, will continue to serve as an advisor to the company.
