Editing and proofreading
100% correct – texts you can trust. You have perfected your products and services. Now you can make sure your texts are perfect too by having our experts give them the final polish.
Do you need editing or proofreading?
Editing and proofreading might sound similar. But while both services involve giving your text its last checks and polish, their aims are very different. The brief explanation below should help you decide which service you actually require.
Editing considers the linguistic accuracy and style of your text. We optimise your writing with a view to its intended purpose and target readership, without losing your distinctive tone of voice. Of course, we also fix any errors of spelling, grammar and punctuation. This makes editing to some extent the big brother of proofreading.
Still have questions? We’re here to help!
To put it another way, our experts bring all their technical, linguistic and industry knowledge together to help your text make a sparkling impression. Your communications will be even more striking and compelling, which should result in higher sales.
SwissGlobal offers both services, delivered by our language specialists to exacting quality standards in accordance with ISO 17100. We have a large network of mother tongue linguists who cover a wide range of languages and areas of specialisation, including full command of industry terminology. Convinced? Then we look forward to adding that extra sparkle to your texts as well.
Of course, the expertise of our language specialists can also be deployed in other ways – for example in writing texts from scratch, transcreating marketing messages or translating into numerous languages.

We use CSF infrastructure, which is ISO 27001-certified. Your data is processed with absolute discretion.
In order to uphold our high standards, all translations are reviewed by a second native speaker translator who is a specialist in your field (known as the “four-eyes principle”).
Our quality management system is effective and efficient, and brings legal certainty. Processes are analysed and optimised on an ongoing basis.
During post-editing, a qualified translator will correct and optimise your machine translation.
